List of products by brand Städter
We have many products from Städter in our range. No wonder, because you can never have enough cookie cutters and these are the speciality of Städter. Of course, the company also produces other practical baking utensils.
There are 799 products.
Active filters
They started in 1973 with various household articles. At that time, Ursula and Walter Städter took over their parents' business. As travelling salesmen, they sold about 200 different products. Due to their great success, they were soon able to afford their own sales vehicle, so they then reached more distant households and also fairs where they offered their goods. Their assortment became more and more fixed on baking utensils, moulds and other aids. They even opened their own baking school, where a confectioner held various seminars on baking.
The next achievement was then the first sales location. Due to the high demand, the Städters bought a warehouse, but they could also buy directly there. Baking was in vogue, which the two noticed not only in the sales figures, but also when they kept receiving requests for special cutters. In order to offer baking enthusiasts a larger selection and more special shapes, they produced their first own cutters and sold them.
With about 50 of their own products, they published their first product catalogue. Of course, it didn't look like it does today. Each product had been drawn by hand in pencil, and the eight pages thus filled were then copied and distributed to the customers.
At home and abroad, the sales network was constantly expanded, the product range was extended and the company became more modern with each passing year. in 2008, the head office was opened in Allendorf/Lumda, from where the company is still managed today.
In addition to the vast quantities of cutters, which are available in different materials, with and without embossing and in all shapes and colours, Städter now also offers many other products of its own brand. Another big part, for example, are the various baking moulds, especially popular are the moulds with a non-stick coating. These include not only simple cake or bread moulds, but also special themed cake moulds as well as trays for donuts, cupcakes, baguettes or madeleines can be found in their range. For optimal success, Städter also sells practical baking tools and utensils such as rubber scrapers or baking release spray.
Another category is all things edible, including, for example, baker's starch, which is used to roll out and emboss fondant, freeze-dried cocoa butter to bypass tempering, lace decorating paste for classy decorations, cocoa nibs as a delicious ingredient or even cake fillings that only need to be mixed and can then be used directly for cakes, desserts and roulades.
As already mentioned, we offer many Städter products in our range. Besides cake fillings, ingredients and a lot of baking moulds, we source most of our cutters from Städter. These include some fondant cutters with ejectors, but most are made of metal and are usually used for Guetzlite dough. Most of them are made of stainless steel and can therefore be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. Some even have a fixed insert that imprints a beautiful pattern or face into the dough. In order for this to still be visible after baking, you need a dough that keeps its shape nicely. There is a very simple recipe for this:
Vanilla cookies
100 g sugar
200 g soft butter
1 egg
300 g flour
1/2 vanilla pod, scraped out seeds
1 pinch of salt
Beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy, add the egg and then stir in the remaining ingredients until you have a homogeneous dough. Wrap this dough in cling film and place in the fridge overnight. The next day, roll out to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out as many biscuits as possible and place them on baking paper. Reassemble the remaining dough and roll out again. Bake the full tray at 170° C for 10 - 15 minutes.
