The dahlia piping nozzle can be used to make beautiful dahlias out of buttercream that will go wonderfully with other flowers but are still unique in their appearance.
Data sheet
Dahlias are one of the more difficult flowers to make from buttercream or frosting, but with a little practice, even they are no problem. The long, narrow petals stretch straight up, giving them a very different look than most other petals. That's exactly why they fit perfectly in a flower bouquet on a cake, but also look classy individually on a cupcake. Their special shape offers a change from the otherwise often used roses and so they are also one of our favorites.
With a little buttercream, a rose nail and a piping bag with the dahlia nozzle, you quickly made an elegant flower. For example, experiment with the colors to create elegant two- or three-color dahlias that perfectly complement your creations.
The large dahlia spout is best for the lower leaves of the dahlia, for best results use the smaller dahlia spout further up.
