Suggested use

At Christmas dinner with friends or over coffee and cake on a cozy Christmas afternoon, these plates will make everyone want to taste something from your sweet plate. Quickly unpacked from the packaging, they can be used straight away. Have you already baked your cookies? A few delicious cookies look particularly Christmassy on this plate. Why not try out this recipe?

A simple butter biscuit dough is not only delicious, but also quick to make.
You will need:
300g flour
150g powdered sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder Zest of one untreated lemon
150g butter

Here's how:
Simply mix all the ingredients together and knead into a firm dough. You can also use a kneading machine for this.
Now you can roll out the dough thinly and cut it into any shape you like. Make sure that your work surface, your hands, the rolling pin and the cookie cutters are floured. This will prevent your dough from tearing during processing. A thinly rolled out dough will be crispy after baking. If you want your cookies to be softer, you can also leave the dough 0.5 - 1 cm thick.
Now place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
A little tip: when should you use cold butter and when room temperature or warm butter?
It's simple: cold butter is ideal for doughs like most cookie doughs. The cold butter holds the dough together and gives the dough stability. So use cold butter for your cookies and cookies. This makes it easier to lift the cut shapes onto the baking tray. If you notice that your dough is getting stickier and warmer, put the dough in the fridge for a few minutes.
Warm butter is used for smooth doughs. The butter is usually beaten with eggs and sugar to prevent lumps. This is usually the case with cake recipes.
It's not just cookies that look fantastic on this plate. Are you sure there will be a delicious dessert or even a Christmas cake at your party?
We clearly recommend placing beautiful, homemade Christmas chocolates on the plate. On our Blog you will find our Christmas hat chocolates, which are not only super tasty, but also a visual highlight on this beautiful star plate.
