Description

Mica Powder Paint Satin Pale Blue

Filigree blue forget-me-nots on a fondant background, a bluish shimmering praline reminiscent of a pearl or a pastel blue colored chocolate high heel. With the mica powder color Satin pale Blue you create various noble decorations. This color powder colors stronger than most powder colors, so it is also perfect for painting dark chocolate. For example, you can create a brightly colored chocolate shoe out of black chocolate. The color covers perfectly and doesn't let the black color show through. On a dark background, the color is slightly changed and looks much better than on white fondant, for example.

Powder paint - Application

First decide on an application technique. Depending on the mass to be colored, a different processing is suitable. You should paint chocolate with dry powder or a glossy powder mixture. With a little powder and Gloss varnish you can also achieve particularly light colors on dark chocolate.

Both techniques can be used on sugar masses such as Massa Ticino, flower paste or marzipan.

Dry application

Use a brush to distribute the powder directly on your creation. You can stipple, drag or lightly roll the brush to create different patterns. If you want a fine glimmering or glittering veil, tap the brush with your finger so that the powder lightly dusts over it. At best, you can also put a little powder on the tip of a knife and blow it over your creation. A more hygienic way to do this would be to use a pump sprayer.

Application with liquid

To decorate fondant or marzipan, add a little powder and a few drops of alcohol, water or lemon juice. Again, you can create different patterns with a brush. A clean sponge can also create fun patterns.

Do not use water, alcohol or lemon juice on chocolate, as this may damage the surface. For chocolate masses, you should use gloss paint. When mixed correctly, you can use the color to apply particularly opaque colorings, among other things. In this way, even dark chocolate can be painted with intense and particularly bright colors.

For the gloss varnish powder mixture, use two to three teaspoons of the desired powder color and mix it in a coffee cup with little Gloss varnish. After that, the finished mixture can be applied directly to the chocolate.
