With this mix you make a delicious vanilla cream, which is suitable for all sorts of sweet treats. Since the cream is very stable and bakeable, you can also use it for cakes, as a topping or as a filling for a pastry. The application is quite simple and the result is always perfect!
200 g Crème Pâtissière Mix
500 g water
Put the powder with the water in a bowl and whip the mixture for about 5 minutes with a hand mixer or food processor, so that a homogeneous cream is formed. Let the cream rest a little before use, so it gains some more stability and creaminess.
You can also flavor or color the ready-mixed vanilla cream. For coloring, gel or paste colors should be used, as they do not affect the consistency of the mass. A little flavor paste will give your vanilla cream an extra flavor, but it also tastes wonderfully of vanilla on its own.
Now the pastry cream can be used for different things. For example, you can spread it on a sponge cake in a cake ring. Then, for example, add some fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackberries or blueberries, place a second cake layer on top and spread another layer of cream over it until nice and smooth. After a short cooling time, the cake can be unmolded and enjoyed. With the help of a star or rosette nozzle, you can also apply the cream as a cupcake topping, and it looks especially great if you sprinkle a little sprinkle decor or some dried flower petals on top.
The cream can also be used as a filling for éclairs, cream cakes and macarons, drizzled onto small puff pastry bases or piped into doughnuts. Since the cream is bake-proof, it can easily be baked on a piece of puff pastry, as a filling for a noble tart or inside a delicious vanilla croissant without melting.
