Description

Tulips holder, 5 pieces

If the tulips made of sugar mass are to keep their shape, it is absolutely necessary to dry them well before assembling and attaching them to the cake or cupcake. To begin, the petals are dried on a tulip former and then assembled on the holder.

Tulip holder - application

Cut out a tulip petal from fondant, flower paste or another modeling material. Use a modeling tool or embosser to give the flower or petal a beautiful pattern as well as filigree edges. For example, some leaf veins or a very thin edge are especially beautiful. So the leaf is then strung on a wire and placed on a tulip former and dried. Alternatively, the leaves can also be dried only slightly without wire.

Then the individual leaves are painted a little as desired. To do this, put some powder paint on a piece of household paper. With a fine brush, the color is then applied, for example, inside the flower or on the outer edge of the petals. Then place the center of the tulip on the tulip holder. Now attach the remaining petals with the help of the wire or with some edible glue. Depending on the moisture content, the tulip is thus dried again a little or immediately used as a decoration.

The holder does not normally need to be cleaned, but should it be soiled by color powder or another mass, it can be briefly rinsed with a little washing-up liquid. Particularly practical is the use of the holder with the tulip former.
