Marzipan can be used to form pretty little figures or flowers that not only look sweet, but also taste deliciously nutty. The tree nut marzipan has a particularly noble taste and is thus especially popular for delicate tree nut pralines. Decorated with half a tree nut, the cut praline tastes even better and also looks beautiful.
Data sheet
Marzipan consists mainly of almonds and sugar, but tree nut marzipan is characterized by a high proportion of high-quality tree nut kernels. These give it a tart, irresistible aroma that makes it perfect for tree nut chocolates. These are indispensable in any confectionery and enchant everyone who enjoys them. With this high-quality marzipan, you can also make your own tree nut chocolates and sweeten the day for your loved ones.
For a real tree nut praline you need white and dark couverture, some nice halved tree nuts as well as a Trempier fork and a Ganache cutter. Between two rolling pins, the marzipan is rolled out to the desired thickness and then cut out. A round or slightly oval shape is best suited here. Knead in the remaining marzipan again, roll out and cut out again. Then dip the praline blanks in white couverture and decorate with half a tree nut.
Once the first layer of couverture has set, the praline is dipped in dark chocolate up to the upper edge. Once this has also solidified, the praline is ready to be wrapped, given as a gift or enjoyed right away. If you would like to learn how to make these pralines perfectly, we would be delighted to welcome you to our advanced praline course. Your loved ones will rave about these delicacies for a long time to come!
This special marzipan can of course also be used to decorate cakes or pure as a noble treat. It can be easily shaped into figurines, flowers or fruits and combined with other colored marzipan. You can also bake an unusual tree nut marzipan cake and garnish it with fruit or berries, for example. Let your creativity run wild and create great treats!
