Application and properties

After you have made your own chocolate maybugs, you can complete them with the associated feet.

To do this, simply place the finished chocolate cockchafer on the cockchafer feet made of coated cardboard and attach them with a little chocolate if necessary. Thus, the little feet will certainly stick to the desired place.

If you are modeling the cockchafer from solid ganache or gianduja, you can place them on the feet with a tamper fork immediately after dipping them in chocolate. This way, the still-attracting chocolate acts as a glue and prevents unwanted shifting.
