Which box of chocolates fits what, 4, 6, 9, 12, 16 or 20 chocolates?
If you search online for your chocolate packaging, you will find a great selection. There is cardboard or plastic packaging in various colors and elegant designs, with or without a viewing window. No matter which one you choose, it is important to consider the size first. How many chocolates should fit in the box?
Small boxes of chocolates such as mini handbags or boxes of four are perfect as a gift. If you are visiting or want to bring a small gift for Christmas, these mini boxes are ideal. It's best to fill them with one or two types of chocolates to make them look particularly elegant.
Once you have made a large number of delicious chocolates, you can give the sweet treats in larger packages to couples or to someone who simply loves to snack. 10 or more chocolates also make a good gift. Note, however, that boxes of 20 are quite large and therefore take up a lot of space. You could use slightly taller boxes containing two layers of chocolates instead. However, you won't be able to see all the chocolates from the outside.
What makes the boxes of 4 chocolates stand out?
The classic 4-piece chocolate packaging is made of sturdy paper. This is beautifully colored and harmonizes perfectly with the golden insert base. The subdivision prevents the chocolates from slipping, even if things get bumpy during transportation.
The transparent lid provides a direct view of the sweet treats. The double rim is very sturdy and also provides a little more safety during transportation.
Can the chocolates be placed in the chocolate packaging without foil?
You have finally found the perfect chocolate boxes and made the delicious chocolates. But now you want to put more chocolates in the box than you intended, or the compartments aren't quite the right size. Don't worry, the dividers can be easily removed. You can place the chocolates directly in the packaging or put them in pretty paper molds.
How are chocolates packaged?
To start the fun of wrapping, you first need to choose, buy or order the right box of chocolates and fold it up if necessary. Then it's time for the fun part: filling the box. We have a few tips for you here.
Storage
Similar rules apply to wrapping as to storing the delicious chocolate. For example, the chocolates should be kept in a cool place for a longer shelf life. This does not necessarily mean in the fridge, but rather in a cool, dry place such as a cellar if they are to be stored for a long time, or in a place out of direct sunlight if they are to be given as gifts and eaten soon. Of course, they are best fresh. The chocolates should also be well chilled when they are packaged so that they do not melt as soon as they are moved.
ramekins
We recommend using aluminum or paper molds for many boxes of chocolates to present them in the best possible way. You can choose from a variety of colors, including red, silver, gold and black, to select the perfect design. With the chocolate capsules, you ensure that your treats are transported safely without causing any damage. They also prevent truffles from rolling around in the box and ensure a perfect look!
Several layers
If you are looking for a high-quality box with a double layer, you will find the right packaging in our range. Some of these boxes already have a second base. We recommend placing this on the bottom layer of chocolates and placing the top layer on top. In this way, the weight is evenly distributed and it looks particularly elegant.
Remaining space
If the chocolate packaging is already filled but there is still some space on the sides, we recommend filling it. Otherwise, when you transport the sweet gift, it can easily slip or be damaged, especially if there is no divider. Therefore, crumple up some colored tissue paper, for example, and place it along the edges of the pages. This way, your creations will be protected and still look beautiful.
Small blemishes
Even if you are very careful, it can happen that a corner or edge of a praline flakes off. Or perhaps a piece sticks to the mold or a small air hole can be seen. But this is not a problem, such small flaws can be easily hidden. Take some tempered white couverture and apply it to dark chocolates and truffles with a paper cornet. The fine strips of chocolate can easily hide small holes. If there is an air hole in a favorable place or the tips are not perfect, you can simply attach a pearl or other sugar decoration with some couverture. For chipped chocolate pieces, a little glitter can work wonders. Spray it on with a pump sprayer or paint the affected area with a brush. The glitter will cover up the missing shine and enhance your creation with a sparkling pattern.
