Silicone baking tins are cold and heat resistant from -40 to 250 degrees. This means that silicone baking tins can be frozen, baked and cleaned in the dishwasher. There are therefore no limits to the possible uses of this hazelnut silicone mold. You can use this hazelnut silicone mold to bake small nut tarts, but also to make ice cubes, confectionery, mousses or glasses in hazelnut shapes. But beware: even if the silicone mold seems perfect, silicone still gets hot in the oven. Therefore, always wear oven gloves and allow the silicone mold to cool down well. To ensure that the mixture takes shape, you can simply fill the finished mousse, ice cream or sorbet mixture into the cavities using a piping bag and distribute it in the silicone mold by pulling and pressing. You can then remove the excess mixture with a spatula and pour it into the next mold. Once you have filled each cavity, place the mold in the freezer and leave the treats to freeze for at least 4 hours. Ideally even overnight. As soon as the desserts are frozen, carefully remove them from the mold and complete your nut decoration. The Velvet Spray is ideal for frozen delicacies. Freezing gives it a beautiful velvet effect. You can also use cake gloss (mirror ice). To do this, place your round tree trunk slices on a grid, cover them evenly with the finished mirror ice cream mixture and leave the whole thing to stand for a while so that the ice cream can set well. With the Velvet Spray and also with the cake glaze, it is important that your mixture is frozen. Ice cream, ice cream and sorbet can be served immediately. A mousse or patisserie can be thawed slowly in the fridge. Your creativity is called for with this form: to refine a delicious nut tartelette, for example, you can make a sweet hazelnut mousse, freeze it in the form and then serve it on the tartelette as a tasty, decorative addition. If you use a savory version instead of a sweet hazelnut mixture, you can create wonderful starters that not only look impressive, but also taste great! Baked goods - sweet or savory

What do I need to consider when cleaning and caring for silicone molds?

Before use, you should place your silicone mold in a warm water bath with a little washing-up liquid. Although this is not necessary, it will contribute to the longevity of your silicone mold. The warm water with washing-up liquid closes the pores of the silicone surface better. This keeps the material flexible for longer. After the silicone mold has been in the water bath for 5-10 minutes, you can now place it on a kitchen towel to drain. Try not to rub the baking mold dry with the kitchen towel. Silicone is a real lint catcher. As soon as the silicone mold is dry, you can use it straight away. Additional greasing is not necessary thanks to the non-stick coating. After you have baked your delicious cakes or frozen ice cream, you can simply put the silicone mold in the dishwasher. Depending on how often you use the silicone mold, we recommend that you outgas your silicone mold 1-2 times a year. To do this, place the silicone mold in the middle of your oven at 200 degrees top/bottom heat for 4 hours. The heat ensures that accumulated substances in the silicone baking mold evaporate. From time to time, a white layer or white spots may form on the silicone mold. This happens especially if you have not used the silicone mold for a long time. Simply place the mold in a water bath with washing-up liquid. This will easily remove the greasy film from the silicone mold and your baking mat can be used again without hesitation. Thanks to the flexibility of the material, the silicone molds can be folded up and stored to save space. Don't worry! The silicone mold will always return to its original shape, even after folding or bending. Say goodbye to bulky metal baking molds.
