The sponge cake mix allows you to make a delicious sponge cake even when time is short. The mix is also suitable for thin roulades, which you can use to create a Charlotte Royal, for example.
Mmmh... how it smells! With this ready-to-use cookie mix, you can conjure up a quick yet homemade cookie in no time at all. All you have to do is add 4 eggs and 70 ml water to the ready-made Biscuit-Fix, mix the mixture well and put it in the oven. This saves you time and is very easy to use. You can put the ready-to-use mixture in the oven in no time at all. You can then use the sponge to make delicious cakes. Let's go!
Add 4 eggs and 70 ml water to 400 g of the sponge mix, mix everything well and place the mixture in a cake ring in the oven. You can also use a springform pan, but this will not achieve the same quality. The sponge cake will be less airy and appear heavier. You will also be able to cut fewer sponge slices. If necessary, you can also add 60 g melted butter or a little cocoa powder. This will give you even more flavor.
You can now process the prepared sponge further. Remove it from the cake ring with a serrated knife. Then cut it into even slices using a cake cutter or a cake saw. Clean the previously used cake ring and place a cake insert strip in it. Now put a layer of sponge back in. Spread the filling of your choice on top. Various fillings combined with whole berries, for example, are delicious. Place another slice of sponge cake on top. If you don't want it to be visible from the outside, you can cut off about 0.5 cm of the edge. Then press it a little into the filling so that the base disappears completely into it. Once all the layers are in place, place in the fridge. As soon as the filling is firm, remove the cake ring and the insert strip.
Of course, you can also make a roulade sponge cake decorated with a fine pattern for a special effect. Here too, you don't have to worry about running out of time.
