Properties and use of the baking pan

The croissant baking dish is made of polished steel. The high-quality material ensures even and optimum heat distribution. A guarantee for perfect baking results. To make the trendy New York rolls, you will need puff pastry dough. Before you start working with the dough, grease the baking tins using a baking release spray. Roll out the well-chilled Danish pastry on a lightly floured work surface to a thickness of 6 mm and approx. 50×24 cm. Loosen the dough a little from time to time so that it does not stick to the work surface. Roll up the dough tightly from the narrow side and flatten the end of the dough slightly. Then divide the dough roll into 3 cm pieces and cut with a sharp knife. Place each of the resulting rolls in the round baking tin and on a lined baking tray. Cover the New York Croissant Rolls with proofing foil and leave to rise for 2-3 hours at room temperature. Then preheat the oven to 190 degrees. After the proofing time, cover/weight down the rings with baking paper and a baking tray. Weigh down this tray again with two bowls or pots and now place the rolls in the middle of the preheated oven, steam the oven and bake the snails for 20 - 35 minutes until golden brown. Remove the weights from the rolls 10 minutes before the end of the baking time so that the surface can still be baked until nicely browned. Now think about which delicious cream you would like to use to finish the delicacies. In addition to chocolate fillings, vanilla or lemon creams or even pistachio or caramel fillings are also ideal. Place these in a piping bag with one of our Berlin piping nozzles. Carefully prick the top of the cylinder with the nozzle and fill your pastry generously with the cream. What you need to bear in mind when cleaning the baking pan

The baking dish is made of stainless steel. We therefore recommend that you wash your baking dish by hand so as not to damage the material or the non-stick coating of the dish. The pan can be cleaned in the dishwasher, but does not have to be. All you need to clean the baking dish is a soft cloth and a little washing-up liquid. Under no circumstances should you remove stubborn dirt with scouring pads or scouring pads - these materials also damage the stainless steel and the non-stick coating of the tin. Instead, soak the baking pan in warm soapy water to soften the dirt, which can then be easily removed with a soft sponge after a while. You should then dry the baking tin thoroughly.
