A delicious Russian plait or a classic Frankfurter Kranz require a suitable mold. With the wreath baking pan you will achieve uniform results when baking as well as a great and clearly defined shape.
Data sheet
The typical frankfurter wreath shape is very easy with this baking pan. Due to the smooth surface, the high-quality steel sheet and a non-stick coating, the cake is baked evenly and can be easily unmolded. Afterwards, the mold is cleaned with a little detergent and can be used again immediately.
310 g butter
280 g sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
280 g egg
310 g white flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
60 g whole milk
1 pinch of salt
Chocolate drops or berries
Cream butter and sugar together, add the egg in gaps. Then fold in the flour and baking powder. Finally, using a hand mixer, mix in the milk and salt, the baking drops or berries can be easily folded in.
The dough is then poured into the greased or sprayed with baking release spray mold and baked at 160 °C for about 2 ½ hours. At the end, do the stick test, then let the cake cool slightly in the mold. Then the finished cake can be removed from the mold or turned out.
Sprinkled with a little powdered sugar, the cake is also ready to serve. Of course, you can then cut it open and put a delicious cream between the layers. For a typical Frankfurter Kranz use a vanilla pudding buttercream, with which the wreath is then also immediately coated. Finally, hazelnut brittle is then pressed on and some cherries are placed as decoration.
So you create beautiful cakes and pies with a great look. The mold can be cleaned by hand with detergent, so you can also bake the next treat. So baking is fun!
