The silicone measuring jug is a practical helper for every kitchen. The measured ingredients can be mixed, pureed and baked right in the measuring cup, as the cup is freeze and heat resistant.
Data sheet
Measuring and baking is so easy. You can measure boiling hot and ice-cold ingredients in the silicone measuring jug. Pouring is also very easy thanks to the stainless steel ring with integrated pouring aid. The silicone jug is both a measuring jug and a baking dish, but is not suitable for the microwave. You can mix and puree in the container without any problems, and the silicone is heat-resistant from -30 to 230 °C.
65 g soft butter
65 g granulated sugar
50 g whole egg
65 g flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
5 g milk
150 g berries
Sugar
Lemon juice
Beat the butter and sugar in a measuring jug until fluffy. Gradually add the whole egg. Mix the flour and baking powder into the mixture and finally stir in the milk.
Now place the measuring jug in the oven preheated to 160 °C fan oven. After about an hour, you can test the cake with a skewer and remove it from the oven. Turn the cake out directly onto a cooling rack and rinse the measuring jug.
While the cake is in the oven, you can put 150 g of mixed berries in a pan. Cover and cook the berries with sugar and a little lemon juice until soft.
Once you have rinsed the measuring jug, you can pour the hot berry mixture over it. Blend the berries with a hand blender until only small pieces remain. Depending on your taste, you can pass the sauce through a sieve, leave to cool or serve fresh with the lukewarm cakes.
