When decorating cakes, the constant interruptions caused by the tedious turning of the cake can be annoying. With a rotating cake plate, you have your cake perfectly under control. The plate and base are made of sturdy metal. This makes it easy to turn and decorate cakes. A tool that belongs in every kitchen.

Rotating cake plate - Application

Create a cake according to your wishes. The use of a cake ring and a matching cake insert strip greatly simplifies the subsequent covering of the cake. The use of these materials prevents an uneven surface on the side, as the filling does not stick to the cake ring and the cake insert strip can be easily removed.
Pick up your cake carefully. The best way to cover your cake is on a small cake plate. This makes it easy to transport and as you don't have to fiddle with the possibly curved edge of the cake plate, you can easily cover the entire edge from top to bottom.
Now pour the mixture used - whipped cream, buttercream or similar - onto the cake using a rubber scraper or piping bag. Now take a spatula or icing smoother. Place this on the side of the cake. Hold it as straight as possible and gently turn the rotating cake plate without moving your other hand. Vary the pressure until you have a nice smooth edge. Any excess mixture that remains on the tool can be scraped off the edge of a bowl.
The top part of the cake is made in a similar way. Hold the spatula horizontally and turn the cake underneath. Keep scraping off the excess mixture. Repeat this until you like your cake.
Now you can continue decorating the cake. Here too, the easily rotatable cake plate allows you to quickly change the viewing angle. This makes decorating your cake even quicker and easier!
