At miniSchoggi you will find various tools for the kitchen and the bakery. In addition to some of our pre-packaged products, we also offer tools that we ourselves use very often and, of course, our homemade recipe books.

The miniSchoggi was founded by Thomas Ramseier and Rebecca Odermatt. As a passionate confectioner, Rebecca is always coming up with new courses. But she is also always on the lookout for suitable products to make baking, cooking and decorating easier.
Thomas trained as a food technologist at Lindt & Sprüngli and later studied business. The perfect combination to start his own chocolate business.
In February 2014, the time had come. The previous Christmas, the two had made their own chocolates and given them away to the whole family. The many positive responses led to an idea: an online shop where people could put together high-quality, hand-made chocolates and truffles with different fillings to create a personalised box of chocolates. These would then be freshly made by Rebecca and shipped immediately.
There was nothing comparable in Switzerland at the time and so the first delicious truffles, chocolate cubes and pralines were soon dispatched. In the summer of the same year, Rebecca and Thomas were asked if it would be possible to hold a small course. The customer was getting married soon and wanted to create chocolates herself with friends and family.
This small event soon turned into courses for the public. These were very popular and the demand increased. In November, the main focus was no longer on the hand-made, customisable praline boxes, but on the courses and events.
More courses were added, the location had to be changed because there was no longer enough space and the team was also enlarged. At the courses, you learn how to make the delicacies in your own kitchen. So the question soon arose where to buy high-quality couverture, hollow praline balls and glucose.
The online shop was added and the product range grew within a very short time. Products for baking, decorating, working with fondant or chocolate, party articles and, of course, praline ingredients could already be found in our shop at that time.
Over the years, new products were added again and again. Rebecca diligently created new courses, products were added to the shop, the event area grew. Online courses and events were also added, as well as many freely accessible video tutorials on our blog. Once again, the team was enlarged and the location changed.
In Adliswil we have our office as well as our shop. Right across the street we have our event and course rooms, where it always smells of pastries, bread or chocolate. To meet the great demand, we also added a large warehouse. From there, all online orders are sent directly so that they reach you as quickly as possible.
In our assortment you will find a variety of brands. We are always looking for new, high-quality products that can help you with your creations. Some of these items can be found here under our own brand. These are primarily products that we like to use frequently ourselves. Of course, we can't list them all here, but we would like to present some examples.
A tempering device is not absolutely necessary, but it is an immense help when it comes to working with chocolate. The big machines that are used in the confectionery and in the factory are much too expensive and too big for your own kitchen. That's why we offer a practical and inexpensive tempering machine with the optimal size for home praline, chocolate and dessert production.
Another example are the cake insert strips, which are an absolute must for every perfect cake from the cake ring. You can also get a lot of the ingredients found in many of our creations under our brand. These include caramelised rice crisps, nuts, nut creams, glucose, freeze-dried fruits and also the almond flour for the perfect macarons.
The light and practical perforated baking trays made of aluminium that are used in bakeries and confectioneries are hardly found in a size suitable for the home oven. To enable you to make perfectly shaped macarons and airy éclairs, we have specially designed and manufactured perforated aluminium trays in our range.
Another special production are our Matterhorn praline moulds. We really wanted to see the mountain from our logo in the form of chocolate, now you too can make delicious little praline mountains.
Very special products are of course our recipe booklets. The recipes were all created, tested and improved by Rebecca and her team. Then the individual steps are described in detail and provided with detailed pictures. So you get step-by-step instructions for all kinds of things. Whether it's a cream slice or a sweet praline mouse, with our recipe books your project is guaranteed to succeed!
