Helena Steele, the founder of the company, had a great passion. She collected vintage-style aprons. This does not mean new aprons, but old aprons that really came from that time. She especially loves the cooking aprons that she received from her mother Joan and her grandmother Jessie. For a long time this collection was just a private hobby, Helena loved the fun patterns and the accentuating, feminine cut of the aprons.

then in 2001 she decided to share this passion with other women. She designed her first aprons and sold them. She quickly realised that her customers were enthusiastic and numerous, so the company grew very quickly. The aprons from Jessie Steele have even made a few TV appearances, for example in Sex and the City, Big Bang Theory or Desperate Housewives.

All aprons are still designed by the company itself. The company follows the motto: "Women develop for women". Helena and her daughter Claire are enthusiastic about the creative patterns and the feminine shapes of the aprons and want to convey a very special feeling with their products. Joy of life, togetherness and festivity should be enjoyed and passed on by the wearers of the aprons. Cooking and baking is something wonderful, and every woman should feel beautiful and comfortable. With these great aprons, fun patterned oven mitts and oven mitts, that's no problem!

To celebrate time together too, there's the "Mommy and me" line. So mother and daughter can bake together in a great outfit!

If you don't know what to bake, we have a suggestion for you. How about the sweet treats on the Cherry Cupcake Apron? These cupcakes look simply scrumptious! And they are so easy to make!

Cherry Cupcakes

120 g butter

140 g dark couverture

120 g liquid egg white

60 g ground almonds

20 g ground hazelnuts

50 g flour

170 g granulated sugar

80-100g butter

80-150g icing sugar

150-200g double cream cream cheese

Cherries

Melt the butter with the couverture over a water bath. Then mix the liquid mass together with the egg white to a homogeneous mass.

Mix the almonds, hazelnuts, flour and sugar and fold into the whipped mixture until a homogeneous dough is formed.

Place white paper cupcake cases in a cupcake baking tray and preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius. Fill each cupcake tin with about 55 g of batter and bake for about 18 minutes. To check whether the batter is baked through, poke it with a baking pin.

Let the muffins cool while you prepare the cream. Make a delicious pink buttercream. If you prefer something lighter and airier, you can make a cream cheese topping. Beat butter, icing sugar, a little pink gel colour and a little flavouring if desired. Then add double cream cheese and gently fold it into the mixture. Put the cream in a piping bag with a rosette nozzle and refrigerate until the muffins are ready. Then either pipe a spiral in a circle or gently squeeze and twist the piping bag as you pull it upwards. This creates a typical cupcake topping. Finally, place a delicious cherry on top of the topping.

Your homemade cherry cupcakes in the style of the cute Jessie Steele apron are ready to be served!
