Since 1948, the company has been creating great designs with clever cutters and detailed silicone embossers that are made in no time at all and look incredibly great. The letter cutters are great for great lettering, and the easiest rose cutter creates beautiful roses in no time at all. However, the speciality of FMM Sugarcraft are definitely the composite cutters. At first glance, they look a bit strange, because you can't see a motif at the beginning. The individual parts, circles, ovals, squares and other shapes, are then put together according to the enclosed instructions and a great motif is created. Train cars, locomotives, animal faces or a penguin family can be put together.
One of our most popular products is the animal face cookie cutter. With only one cookie cutter you can create more than 20 different animal faces. Instructions including pictures on how to use and make certain body parts are included with the cookie cutter, and you can find more instructions on the website of FMM Sugarcraft.
For example, you can use the animal face cookie cutter to make a cute tiger. You will need the cutter, orange, black and white fondant, a black food pen and some edible glue.
Roll out the orange fondant to a thickness of about 2-3 mm. Then cut out a circle with the back of the cutter and two large ovals with the front. Using the back, cut off a third of the ovals to make the ears. Now roll out the white fondant, cut out another circle and then cut out a smaller part with the back of the circle so that you end up with a smaller, pointed oval. This serves as the tiger's snout and is glued to the bottom of the circle. Cut out two large ovals from the white fondant. Cut the ovals in half, as you did with the orange fondant, and glue them onto the orange ears.
Now follow with the remaining pieces of black fondant. Cut out two small circles, a small oval and 3 pointed ears. Using the back, cut strips for the tiger from the ears. To do this, place the ear with the curve towards you and the point away from you. Now place the circle of the cookie cutter on top so that it goes through the tip and the strip then becomes slightly wider towards you. Repeat this on the other side. Do this with all three ears and you will have six triangular strips and three rounded strips on both sides. This may sound a bit complicated, but it's easy to follow with the pictures on the instructions that come with the cookie cutter.
Then glue the small oval onto the white snout and draw a vertical line for the mouth underneath with a food pen. Glue the black circles as eyes, if you like you can also glue very small white balls on top for some shiny eyes. Finally, glue on two triangular strips on the right and left, with the point facing the centre. From the top, two more triangular strips point downwards, with a rounded strip on both sides in between. The little tiger is ready! Now you can attach it to a cake or cupcake, for example.
With the biscuit cutters and silicone embossers from FMM Sugarcraft you can create all kinds of creative decorations!
