Creative Party Ltd is one of England's largest companies producing party products of all kinds. Every year new products with creative designs are produced and sold in shops all over the world. The business started very small and under a different name. Anniversary House products were made in a small factory in Bournemouth. These were sold in England. Apart from small gifts, mainly cake decorations were sold. in 1883, 30 years after opening, production moved to another factory. This allowed more to be produced and many new products were developed. These included the well-known sugar decorations. These are still in the range today and are all made by hand. After a few more years of steady growth, the company started exporting to other countries.

Today, major distributors in over 40 countries are supplied. The next step in the development of the company was the addition of the Creative Converting line. Subsequently, the business was renamed from Anniversary House to Creative Party Ltd, the former was retained as a brand and the management changed. In the factory, everything remained the same and the individual product branches were further expanded. Today, you can find a huge variety of products at Creative Party. These include typical party items as well as great cake toppers for weddings, baby shower parties, birthdays and anniversaries. Among these are some lettering, glittering numbers and even small balloons in the shape of numbers.

With Creative Party, every party is a success! It doesn't take much at all to make a great children's birthday party. The table is set under a pretty garland, nothing gets broken and afterwards it is quickly tidied up, paper plates and paper cups are perfect. We have paper plates and matching napkins in galaxy style or with cute forest animals on them. Of course, no birthday should be complete without a birthday cake. Decorate it, for example, with the matching year or with the right number of small candles, which the birthday boy or girl can then blow out. Here too, we offer many different colours so that the candles match the cake and other decorations perfectly.

Finally, the most important thing of all, a fun activity for the children. Instead of a wild romp or tedious games to organise, how about something different? For example, let the children decorate their own biscuits, wrap them up and take them home as a sweet souvenir of a great day.

Guetzli recipe

100 g sugar

200 g soft butter

1 egg

300 g flour

1 tbsp vanilla sugar

1 pinch of salt

Cream the butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Stir in the egg well and then combine with the flour to form a dough. Wrap in cling film and place in the fridge overnight or for a few hours. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm on a lightly floured surface. Now cut out various slightly larger Guetzli. Use a cookie cutter with an embosser to decorate the biscuits. Bake the biscuits at 170°C for 10-15 minutes. Make sure you let them cool completely before decorating.

The cookies can also be made a few days in advance and stored in an airtight box. Then set out plates, small bowls or tins with decorating materials. Sprinkles, glitter, gummy bears, sugar decorations, Smarties or sugar pearls are all suitable. Then you need something to stick the decorations on. You can use egg white icing, tempered couverture or cake icing. It is particularly easy to mix egg white icing with our Royal Icing Mix or to melt cake icing. These can then be distributed to the children, freshly melted or mixed, in piping bags, paper cornets or simply in small bowls with spoons. They can then decorate the biscuits to their heart's content and stick decorations on them.

The easiest way to avoid too much chaos is to cover the table with a disposable tablecloth, otherwise you can also give each child a disposable plate.

The finished biscuits are then placed on baking paper, for example, on which an area can be marked and written for each child, so that in the end everyone takes their own treats home. While the cake icing and the egg white icing are drying, the children can play or romp around. Then the treats are wrapped up nicely. The gift boxes from Creative Party are perfect for this. They come in different shapes and colours. Sweet flowers, small forest animals or funny dinosaurs, the biscuits are packed safely and beautifully. With this great memory, each child can go home and enjoy the treats themselves or give them as a gift.
