Quantity: 6 cups

Baking time: 10 to 15 minutes

Difficulty level: Easy

Cookie dough ingredients

Butter50 g
Icing sugar70 g
Whole egg25 g
White flour115 g

Couverture | dark 49 %50 g

Making the cookie dough

It is best to get all the ingredients you need ready and chop the couverture into coarse pieces. Beat the butter with the icing sugar until creamy and gradually add the whole egg.

Then add the salt, white flour and chopped couverture and mix everything together until you have a firm cookie dough. At this point, you can also mix in flavourings, gel colours or ingredients such as cocoa nibs or freeze-dried fruit. This allows you to flavour your cookie cups individually and adapt them to your personal taste. Coloured cookie cups are also real eye-catchers.

Form six balls of the same size and then press them into the mould for the cookie cups. You don't need to grease the baking tray.

Now press the matching counterpart into the mould until the dough comes up around the edge. You can simply cut away the excess cookie dough that comes over the edge with a small dough scraper. Bake the delicious cookies for 10 to 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 °C fan oven.

Then simply remove from the tin and leave to cool. Now you can fill them with ice cream, sorbet or other sweet treats!

Storage & shelf life

The finished cookie cups can be stored in a dry place for up to two weeks in an airtight container. So you can also make them well in advance.
